Rivers Crossing, Minnesota is a small, tranquil town where everyone knows one another. Shelby Dawson, a well-liked resident, grew up in town and now lives there with her husband and children. She manages Oleander, a local senior residence. Following a horrific and shocking attack on Shelby, things start to unravel in this once-safe town. Leo, the husband of Mackenzie, Shelby's best friend, vanishes under mysterious circumstances. After Shelby finds a threatening note on her car, which appears to be from her still unknown attacker, a group of the senior residents at Oleander take matters into their own hands and start a real crime podcast. This group is not to be underestimated.
Nothing Ever Happens Here is a tense thriller by Seraphina Nova Glass. Numerous mysteries will keep you guessing as Shelby fears for the safety of her children. The warm and humorous seniors add lightness to a dark situation. This is a clever book with unpredictable twists. I fully enjoyed it.
