Up and coming rock band The Bittersweet was on its way to becoming a success. In a split second, an accident on their way to a party in the Catskills in a snowstorm not only destroyed their dreams, but it also took the lives of most of the band members.
What seemed like a horrible accident is now being investigated by the police.
Looking back, the band started as a high school duo with drummer and songwriter Vienna pairing with guitarist and singer Madison to form EmVee. Vienna had a difficult home life while Madison, despite appearing to have it all, had overbearing parents who disapproved of her playing in a band. The duo eventually expanded into a five-member band. As the story shifts back and forth, it is unclear what truly happened on that icy road and at the cabin where they sought shelter until they could get help. Was this more than a tragedy? As the police delve into the accident, the public also becomes involved, with fans divided on social media into #TeamVienna and #TeamMadison camps. As the storyline goes from past to present, the tale of two best friends who live to play music shifts to a band dying one by one. Is one of them a murderer?
