Tell Me What You Did - a true-crime podcaster with a secret past.

Poe Webb hosts a popular true-crime podcast in New England, featuring a distinctive format where individuals confess their crimes anonymously. Her audience would never suspect that Poe has a secret of her own. At the age of thirteen, Poe witnessed her mother's murder. A man calling himself Ian Hindley appears on the podcast, admitting to being her mother's killer. But how can that be possible? Only Poe knows she has already killed her mother's murderer after tracking him down seven years ago in New York City. Yet, Ian possesses too much knowledge about Poe and her mother to be dismissed. Could he be the real murderer? After threatening everyone in her life, Poe complies with his demand for a live podcast. And now the situation has shifted, and Ian is asking the questions. Could Poe have killed an innocent man?

Tell Me What You Did by Carter Wilson was so gripping that I couldn't put it down. Poe is morally ambiguous and flawed, but her love for her father, boyfriend/producer, and dog makes her easy to care about. The man who insists he's the real killer is incredibly creepy. I enjoyed the cat-and-mouse game between Poe and Ian. I can't remember reading a book this fast.
